The GC5 Singles Collection on Constra Nostra Records (291 Redwood Road Mansfield, Ohio 44907)

This record FUCKING ROCKS! I had their full length on Outsider Records which was pretty good, but for some reason the Singles Collection just kicks ass all over that one. This is the fastest, toughest, most mature, and catchy street rock out there right now.

The Fleshies "Kill the Dreamer's Dream" CD

The first time I heard this I didn't think it lived up to their live show, but then songs like "Meatball" and "Yes, I'm Starting Shit" and a bunch of others HOOKED me. The other night I got the Soccer Ball picture disc/CD on Adaline, but I don't think it's as good as this one. Who knew?? These guys rock! (Alternative Tentacles)

Lopez CD

This may be the only band I've seen that rocked Warehouse harder than The Fleshies. This CD is fantastic to CRANK at full volume to blow off hangovers. It's even better when drinking (like most things.) These guys have paid there dues. Go see them now before they get old and wear out.. (Infect Records.)

The Bananas new CD on Plan-it X

My friend JD told me he had never heard The Bananas before. I thought that was SO SAD. Especially since he had me baby-sit for him so he could go see the (Mtv buzz clip, award show playing, good, but overratedWhite Stripes). The first Bananas CD I've listened to over 200 times and every time I think, "Damn! This is so fucking good!" The new one I've only played about 30 times but I think it's really great. The label sells both CDs for only $6 each, that's with postage paid. There is no better deal in punk rock. (5810 W. Willis Rd. Georgetown, IN 47122)

Bodies CD

Buy there first CD on TKO. It's just a great collection of fun catchy punk rock. For some reason I don't like the newer one as much. What happened to these guys? The promo sheet didn't say anything about breaking up, but I haven't seen them playing a show in ages.

Oxymoron "Feed the Breed" CD

I only just heard the first part of this on my way home yesterday, but it sounded really good and who knows how long before I'll be adding more reviews. For anyone into the street rock.. (TKO)

Okay, I'd like to thank Lydia for sleeping this morning so I could finally get this stuff off my chest. I don't have time to review most of the promo CDs I get so I'm only going to mention the very best stuff. I have a large stack here that I'm just not going to get to. Ah, I was going to review the Ignorance Park CD too, power yellow!

Oh yeah, I mention half.com as the place to buy CDs because that's what I've been doing. I like it because you don't have to wait like on ebay. Once you're set up it's just super easy and cheaper than the record store.. You need a credit card though
